David: "Mommy, Jacob said the f word."
Pause
Me: "What is the f word, David?"
David: "It's fart. I just know you don't want me to say it."

Bryan: "We don't want to be an orphan, right?"
Me: "Why don't you want to be an orphan, Bryan?"
Bryan: "If you don't have a mommy or a daddy, then you will get eated by monsters."
